In this single-arm study, hexacosanoic acid reduction by Lorenzos oil was associated with reduced risk of developing MRI abnormalities. We recommend Lorenzos oil therapy in asymptomatic boys with X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy who have normal brain MRI results. |
